Community and Leadership

I. Community Driven Alliance

Scholars from ARC Alliance members will be encouraged to support journals affiliated with the Alliance by serving as uncompensated editors, editorial board members, peer reviewers, and authors when an Alliance journal exists in their area of scholarly endeavor.

II. Valued Leadership

Leaders of ARC Alliance members will have confidence in the quality of ARC Alliance journals and value publication in these journals highly for promotion and tenure decisions, even ahead of the establishment of traditional measures and records of impact.

III.Inclusivity

the ARC Alliance will be international in nature, leverages available member resources such as academic presses and library science resources, and be fully consistent with Plan S.
