The ARC Alliance, along with its journals, respects the privacy of its community, including organizational supporters, members, and partners; website visitors; and journal readers, authors, and reviewers. To safeguard that privacy, the ARC Alliance abides by the following policies:
- We do not sell personal information to organizations.
- We do not distribute or utilize user-related information for commercial use.
- We comply with the routine needs of indexing services, which involve the sharing of minimal author metadata of published content in professional publishing databases, such as PubMed, Web of Science, Google Scholar, Crossref, and ORCID.
- We use non-intrusive cookies on journals to track views and downloads of articles for analytical and reporting purposes.
- We minimize cookies on the ARC Alliance website to the extent possible within UNC-Chapel Hill’s electronic system. According to their Privacy Notice, UNC-Chapel Hill is “committed to fulfilling its responsibilities of transparency as a state-sponsored institution of higher learning, protecting certain types of information and using information Carolina collects only for appropriate purposes.”
